IAC BOYS BOWLING: FOUR TIOGA BOWLERS ROLL 600 SERIES IN SWEEP OF WAVERLY (2021-02-10)

WAVERLY "” Four Tioga bowlers threw 600 series in a sweep of Waverly here Wednesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action.

The Tigers, bowling at one end of the Valley Bowling Center, rolled a 3,052 series, while the Wolverines, bowling at the other end, shot a 2,607.

Dylan Slater led Tioga with a 657 series on games of 237 214, and 206, while Rocco Fariello shot a 648 on games of 223, 214, and 211, and Gage Cain had a 623 on games of 175, 224, and 224.

Kolton Pond had a 611 on games of 232, 209, and 170 for Tioga, while Nick Slater added a 499, and Frank Chapman tacked on a 462.

Senior Matt Mauersberg led Waverly with a 578 series, while sophomore Zach Vanderpool shot a 564, and freshman Thomas Morley had a 519.

Senior Richard Stevens had a 485 for the Wolverines, while 7th-grader Derek Johnson added a 455, and junior Cody Blackwell tacked on a 424.

Seventh-grader Tristan Campbell added a 462 in reserve for Waverly, while freshman Trent Sindoni had a 460, and 7th-grader Derek Johnson had a 455.
