WAVERLY - Tioga had three finishers in the top four, and five of its six bowlers finished in the top 17 en route to a team title Saturday at the virtual IAC Championships.

Tioga, bowling at the Valley Bowling Center, won the team gold with a 3,187 series, while SVEC (Owego Bowl) was second with a 2,968, Waverly (VBC) was third with a 2,957, Lansing (Cort-Lanes) was fourth with a 2,661, and Notre Dame (Dixie Lanes) was fifth with a 2,471.

Senior Kolton Pond, and junior Rocco Fariello, and Dylan Slater saved their best for last, finishing 2-3-4 in the individual standings for the Tigers with season-high series.

Pond rolled a 696 series on games of 192, 246, and 258, while Fariello banged out a 690 series on games of 205, 193, and 276, and Dylan Slater shot a 674 on games of 205, 193, and 276.

Sophomore Gage Cain finished 12th with a 584 series, which included a 233, while 7th-grader Nick Slater was 17th with a 543 series.

Sophomore Frankie Chapman tacked on a 506 for the Tigers.
