THE VALLEY "" Mother Nature has caused the postponement of both events at Athens today, but the Waverly girls are still playing at home tonight.

The Athens boys game at home Thursday night against Canton has been rescheduled for Friday. The JV game tips at 6 p.m.

The NTL Swimming & Diving Championships have been re-scheduled for Tuesday at Athens.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Newark Valley (2-0) at Waverly (3-1), 5:30 p.m. varsity only: The IAC rivals will play for the second time in 24 hours, after the Lady Cardinals won a 75-70 thriller at home Wednesday night.
