THE VALLEY "” Tuesday's schedule features three rivalry basketball games, as well as the NTL Swimming & Diving Championships.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Wyalusing (9-4 overall, 9-4 NTL) at Athens (13-5, 10-2), 6 p.m. varsity ONLY:  The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 42-37 non-league loss at home to Central Columbia Saturday, while the Lady Rams topped NP-M, 52-35.

Athens trails division-leading Towanda (11-0) by two games in the loss column, while Wyalusing is four back and has been mathematically eliminated from division title contention.

In their first meeting, Wyalusing edged Athens at home, 31-28.

Tioga (1-3) at Waverly (4-1), 7 p.m. varsity ONLY:  The Lady Wolverines won, 79-41, at Tioga Saturday in the first game of their home-and-away series.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Waverly (3-1) at Tioga (0-5), 5:30 p.m. varsity start: The Wolverines topped the Tigers, 70-26, at home Saturday.

Sayre at Athens, 7:30 varsity ONLY: The Redskins are coming off a 65-27 win over Williamson Saturday afternoon,  while the Wildcats dropped a 52-47 decision to Northeast Bradford.

Earlier this season, Athens won at Sayre, 54-41.
