NTL BOYS BASKETBALL: FABBRI SAYRE'S LONE SMALL SCHOOL ALL-STAR SELECTION (2021-03-21)

SAYRE "” Junior Dom Fabbri, a second-team pick, was Sayre's lone NTL Small School Division all-star selection in voting by the league's coaches.

Troy junior Ty Barrett was named the NTL "Player of the Year," while North Penn-Liberty's Noah Spencer was voted the "Offensive Player of the Year," Wyalusing's Mitchell Burke was named the "Defensive Player of the Year," and North Penn-Mansfield's Curtis Craig was tabbed the "Sixth Man of the Year."

North Penn-Liberty's Brian Litzelman and his coaching staff was voted "Coaching Staff of the Year."

FIRST TEAM
Named to the first were Canton's Isaiah Niemczyk, NP-Liberty's Brandon Thompson, Wyalusing's Grady Cobb and Isaiah Way, NEB's Nick Beers, Cowanesque Valley's McGuire Painter.

SECOND TEAM
Dom Fabbri, junior, Sayre:
A smooth shooting guard, Fabbri could score in transition, from behind the 3-point arc, and with the mid-range jumper.

Fabbri led the Redskins at 15.4 points per game, 49 3-pointers made, 35 free throws made, and a 74 percent free throw percentage.

Fabbri also averaged 4.2 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.4 steals per game.

Also named to the second team were NP-Liberty's Colton Litzelman, NEB's Lucas Crown, Canton's Caiden Williams and Cooper Kitchen, and Wyalusing's Blake Morningstar.
