WAVERLY "” Watkins Glen won nine of 12 events to top Waverly, 105-72, here Monday afternoon in IAC girls swimming action.

Josie VanDyke, who was a double-winner, and Sophia DeSisti logged the only individual wins for the Lady Wolverines, who also won one  relay.

 VanDyke won the 1-meter diving with 156.3 points, and Natalie Garrity was second with 125.85 seconds.

DeSisti won the 50-yard freestyle in a personal-best time of 28.83, and Mira Kittle was third in a personal-best time of 30.31 seconds.

VanDyke teamed with Lourden Benjamin, Kittle, and Mara Callear teamed to win the 400-yard freestyle relay in a time of 4:45.15.

Callear was second in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:26.37. She also finished second in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:37.66.

Delaney Vascoe finished second in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:37.78 Vascoe finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke in a personal-best time of 1:23.15, and DeSisti was third in 1:31.44.

Willow Sharpsteen was second in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 1:13.35.

Benjamin finished third in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:04.2.

Waverly, now 3-2, travel to Southern Cayuga Tuesday for its final regular-season meet.
