ODESSA "” Tioga cruised to a 2-0 sweep of Odessa-Montour here Tuesday evening in IAC Small School junior varsity volleyball action.

The junior Lady Tigers won by scores of 25-10 and 25-9.

Layni Whitmore led Tioga with 14 service points, while Courtney Benjamin-Doyle had 11 points, two kills, and two blocks, Kyra Bailey added four points and seven setter assists, and Hailey Powell registered four kills.

Horseheads 2, Waverly 0
At Waverly, Horseheads swept Waverly by scores of 25-9 and 25-8 in non-league volleyball action Tuesday.

The junior Lady Wolverines won an exhibition set, 25-16.

Brilynn Belles led Waverly with five points (two aces) and four kills, while Allison Barrett had four points, including three aces, Maddy Olmsted had four points (two aces), and seven digs, Erica Ryck had four points, two digs, and two assists, Haylie Davenport had two points and three assists, Natalie Lauper added two points, and Mia Bakley chipped in with two digs.
