TOWANDA "” Towanda-2's Bryson Vargason out-dueled Sayre's Gretchen Hiley in an 8-4 decision here Tuesday evening in Little League Majors Division softball action.

Vargason fanned 15, walked three, and allowed five hits, while Hiley struck out 10, walked seven and gave up just two hits.

Hiley tripled and singled and scored two runs for Sayre, while Taylin Gonzalez doubled and singled, Kennadie Cochrane added a single, and McKenna Jarvis scored a run.

Sayre hosts Towanda-1 Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Snyder Field.
