OLEAN, N.Y. - Tioga grad Pierce Hendershot, a redshirt freshman on the St. Bonaventure baseball team, hit all four games in a weekend series against Rhode Island, and Waverly grad Brendyn Stillman had three multi-hit games, but the Bonnies dropped three of the four games against the Rams in Atlantic-10 action.

Sayre grad Matt Williams had one hit in three of the four games in the four-game weekend series.

Stillman had six hits in 14 at-bats, with three doubles, one home run, four RBI, and two runs scored, while Hendershot had five hits in 13 at-bats with two doubles, one RBI, and one run scored, and Williams had three hits in 14 at-bats with two runs scored.

On Friday, Stillman doubled and singled, and drove in one run in St. Bonaventure's 8-3 loss to Rhode Island, while Hendershot doubled in three at-bats, and Williams singled in four at-bats.

In the first game of the doubleheader Saturday, Hendershot doubled and singled, and drove in one run, while Stillman doubled and singled, and Williams singled and scored one run in a 7-1 loss.

In the nightcap, Hendershot singled and scored one run in a 3-2 win, but Stillman and Williams were both hitless in three at-bats.

On Sunday, Stillman homered and doubled, scored two runs, and had three RBI in an 8-4 loss, while Williams singled and scored one run, and Hendershot added a single.

Hendershot has hit in seven of his last eight games, with nine hits, including three doubles, in 26 at-bats for a .346 average.

Stillman has hit safely in six of his last seven games, including four multi-hit games. He is hitting  He is hitting .357 (10 of 28) in that span with four doubles, three home runs, eight RBI, and four runs scored.

On the season, Stillman is batting .247 (24 hits in 97 ABs) with 10 doubles, one triple, three home runs, 14 RBI and 17 runs scored.

Hendershot is hitting .257 (19 hits in 74 ABs) with three doubles, one triple, five RBI, and four runs scored.

Williams is hitting .225 (20 hits in 89 ABs) with three doubles, one triple, one home run, 12 RBI and 15 runs scored.

St. Bonaventure, now 6-21, returns to action Friday to being a three-game home set against Mass.
