COLLEGE BASEBALL: TIOGA GRAD HENDERSHOT HITS SAFELY IN ALL THREE GAMES AGAINST ILLINOIS (2021-05-25)

STATE COLLEGE - Tioga grad Parker Hendershot, a junior on the Penn State baseball team, hit safely in all three games over the weekend against Illinois, and has hit safely in 11 of his last 13 games.

Hendershot had 3 hits in 11 at-bats in the three-game series at Illinois. He also scored a pair of runs.

In his last 13 games, Hendershot has hit .319 (15 hits in 47 at-bats) with two doubles, eight RBI and three runs scored.

For the season, Hendershot is hitting a career-high .296 (24 hits in 81 ABs) with two doubles, three home runs, 15 RBI and seven runs scored. He has also stolen one base.

Penn State, now 17-23, plays five games this weekend - two at Purdue, and three against Minnesota at Purdue) to end the season.
