ATHENS - Joey Dickerson pitched five strong innings to lead Williams Toyota to a 3-0 win over Gannon Associates here Wednesday night in Athens Little League Majors Division baseball action.

Dickerson allowed just one hit, while striking out seven and walking four to earn the win. Ryan Hicks struck out two and gave up one hit in a scoreless inning of relief to earn the save.

Zach Fisher doubled twice, scored one run, and had two RBI to lead Williams Toyota at the plate, while Dickerson singled and drove in one run, Hicks doubled and scored one run, and Jacob Saxon singled and scored one run.

Zane Evans and Jake Shore each singled to account for Gannon's two hits.

Thetga was tagged with the loss, allowing two runs on three hits, while striking out four and walking one in 2 1/3 innings.

Alex McQuay relieved, allowing one run on two hits, while striking out nine and walking three in 3 2/3 innings.
