ENDICOTT - Nichols-Tioga opened the Union-Endicott 12U Tournament in impressive fashion, racking up three victories over the weekend.

NTLL nipped Greene, 1-0, in its opener Friday, then romped past Union-Endicott (Longo) Saturday, 17-1. The third win was 7-0 forfeit over Vestal Sunday.

Nichols-Tioga received a single from Christian Crawn and two-out double from Brendan Clark in the bottom of the fifth to account for the game's only score.

Meanwhile, Jackson Bombard tossed a two-hitter, striking out 10 and walking one.

Talon Relyea, Bombard and Jacob Guiles contributed NTLL's other hits.

NTLL scored seven runs in the first inning and never looked back.

Owen Parker led the charge at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a triple, double, three runs and two RBI. Brayden Lounsbury was 2-for-2 with a double and four RBI; Gavin Kithcart went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI; and Bombard was 2-for-3 with a trio of runs.

Kaiden Sindoni smacked a double and had two runs and one RBI; and Josh Rought added a double, three runs and two RBI. Crawn pitched in with three runs and an RBI; Jaxon Bidwell had a hit and two RBI; Relyea added a hit and a run; and Clark tacked on a run and RBI.

Kithcart pitched the first two innings of no-hit ball, striking out two and walking two. Lounsbury scattered three hits and three walks over two innings, fanning four.
