VALLEY SPORTS REPORT: WAVERLY'S BEEMAN, MINAKER HEADLINE 2020-21 'SUPER 7 NEWCOMERS OF THE FALL' (2021-07-28)

Valley Sports Report
THE VALLEY "” A pair of Waverly athletes - sophomore Ty Beeman and 8th-grader Harper Minaker "” are the 2020-21 Boys and Girls "Newcomers of the Fall."

Beeman stepped in and made an immediate impact for the Wolverines, anchoring the offensive line at center, and also ranking among the team leaders in tackles at linebacker.

He will be a force on both sides of the ball for Waverly the next two seasons.

Minaker consistently led the Lady Wolverines in dual meets, and invitationals. She finished fourth at the IAC Large School Divisional meet, and fourth at the overall IAC Championships. Minaker finished 15th at the Section IV Championships.

She should become another in the long line of dominant runners for the Lady Wolverines.
