Jamie VanDuzer guided the Sayre baseball team to a District 4 baseball title, and is the 2021 Valley Sports Report Super 7 "Coaches of the Spring."
This year's Class AA championship game win was the third in four seasons for VanDuzer. They were runners-up in 2019, dropping a 2-1 decision to South Williamsport.
The Redskins wrapped up the season with a 21-2 record, and are 66-24 in VanDuzer's four seasons at the helm.

Jamie VanDuzer, baseball, Sayre:
Scott Riley, track & field, Athens: Riley led the Athens boys to a 10-0 record, and their second straight NTL title, while the Athens girls were 8-0-1.
Mickey Farrell, softball, Athens: Farrell guided the Lady Wildcats to a 15-6 record, and a return trip to the District 4, Class 4A playoffs. He has a two-year career record of 29-11 at Athens.
Heather Klossner, softball, Tioga: After two years away from the program, including the lost 2020 Covid season, Klossner returned and led Tioga to a 12-5 record, which included another overall IAC Small School Championship, and a playoff win over second-seeded Lansing in the Class C quarterfinals.
Kyle McDuffee, baseball, Waverly: The Wolverines posted a 15-5 record under McDuffee, winning an overall IAC Large School Championship in the process. Waverly advanced to the Class B semifinals, dropping an 11-9 decision to eventual champion Susquehanna Valley.
Charlie Havens, baseball, Athens: Havens led the Wildcats to a 12-9 record in his first season in the dugout. Athens, which was in the NTL Large School title chase until the final days of the season.
Dave Sickler, golf, Tioga: The Tigers posted a 7-3 record, including a 5-1 mark in their division to earn a share of the division title.
