TIOGA CENTER — Tioga earned its second win in as many nights, sweeping Watkins Glen here Thursday night in IAC volleyball action.

The Lady Tigers, now 2-0, won by scores of 25-15, 25-10, and 25-10.

Senior Julia Bellis led Tioga with 22 service points, including 11 aces, seven kills, and nine digs, while junior Reese Howy had six points, and a team-high 10 kills and two blocks, and senior Austyn Vance added four points (two aces), five kills, and four digs.

Senior Molly Bombard had 12 setter assists, three kills, and two digs in the win, while Lily Mesler had a team-high 13 assists and six digs, and Nina Spano chipped in with five kills and two digs.

Colby Thurston led Watkins Glen with five points, three kills, and five digs, Jade Scaptura had five assists, and Kendall Gascon recorded five digs.

Tioga returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Candor.

JV: Tioga improved to 2-0 with a sweep of Watkins Glen by scores of 25-4, and 25-14.

RaeAnne Feeko led Tioga with nine points and two assists, while Joslyn Maciak had eight points and six assists, Haley Powell added eight points and two kills, and Layni Whitmore and Megan Vance each had eight points.
