WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: WAVERLY GRAD TALADA PLACES 5TH AT PRE-CONFERENCE INVITATIONAL (2021-09-23)

DURHAM, N.H. - Waverly grad Sheridan Talada, a freshman on the Binghamton women's cross country team, finished fifth to help Binghamton University to the team title here Saturday at the University of New Hampshire Pre-Conference X-C Invitational.

Talada's teammates, senior Emily McKay (17:21.74) and junior Aziza Chigatayeva (17:26.66), finished 1-2 in the meet, wth Talada placing third on the Binghamton team in a time of 18:18.4 on the 3.11-mile course.

Binghamton won the team title with 34 placement points, well ahead of runner-up New Hampshire, which had 55 points.

Binghamton returns to action Oct. 1 at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University.
