Sydney Meyers - both juniors on the Elmira College volleyball team - had big nights here Tuesday in the Lady Soaring Eagles' 3-1 win over Keuka College in Empire 8 play.
Martin recorded nine service points, including one aces, eight kills, and 12 digs, while Meyers had six points, including five aces, 11 digs, and one kill.
On the season, Martin has played 13 (started nine) of Elmira's 14 matches, and in 42 sets. She is third on the team with 81 points, and second on the team with 30 service aces and 106 digs, to go along with 50 kills, two blocks, and six setter assists.
Meyers has played in 10 matches (one start) and 26 sets. She had 21 points, including six aces, 14 kills, 26 digs, one setter assist, and one block.
Elmira College, now 6-8, returns to action Friday at Utica College.
