Melina Ortiz, a sophomore on the Siena College women's soccer team has started all 13 of the Lady Saints' games this year, and has been a key defensive cog in their recent three-game win streak.
Ortiz played all 90 minutes Saturday in Siena's 1-0 win at Marist College. She has averaged 71.3 minutes during Siena recent win streak.
On the season, Ortiz averages 68.2 minutes per game. She has one goal on three shots, including one on-target shot.
Siena, now 6-6-1, on the season returns to action Wednesday when it hosts Niagara.
