THE VALLEY "" There's just one varsity game on Monday's docket and it has the Waverly volleyball team on the road against IAC Small School-leading Candor.

VOLLEYBALL
Waverly (4-2) at Candor (9-1), 5 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wolverines are coming off a five-set loss at S-VE Friday night, while the Lady Indians moved into a first-place tie in the Small School Division by handing Toga it first loss of the season with a come-from-behind 3-2 win.

Waverly leads the Large School Division by percentage points. Newark Valley and Edison are tied for second place at 6-4.

The Lady Wolverines, who were off for 16 days due to a COvid quarantine, play at Edison Tuesday and Newark Valley Wednesday, before closing out the week at home Friday against Newfield.
