THE VALLEY "” The final full week of the regular season is drawing to a close, but the NTL boys soccer title will be decided today at Troy.

BOYS SOCCER
Athens (11-6 overall, 9-1 NTL) at Troy (6-9, 6-5), 4 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 2-1 non-league win at Millville Monday night, while the Trojans, despite a furious second-half comeback, dropped a 5-4 decision at Sullivan County.

With a win, Athens will clinch its seventh NTL title in eight years. Wellsboro snapped the Wildcats' six-year-run at the top in 2020.

GIRLS SOCCER
Athens (9-8) at NEB (11-7), 4 p.m.:
The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 3-1 non-league loss at Hughesville Monday, while the Lady Panthers blanked non-league foe Tunkhannock, 4-0.

Athens won their first match-up this season, 5-1.

VOLLEYBALL
Candor (13-1) at Waverly (5-6), 5 p.m. JV start:
The Lady Wolverines are coming off a 3-0 home loss to Edison, while the Lady Indians won their 12th straight match with a sweep of Watkins Glen.

It's the third match in four nights for Waverly, all against division leaders - Tioga and Candor are tied atop the Small School standings, and Edison leads the Large School race.

Wyalusing (11-5) at Sayre (1-12), 6 p.m. JV start: The Redskins are coming off a 3-0 home loss to Williamson Tuesday, while the Lady Rams were swept at home by Canton.

In their first meeting this season, Wyalusing swept Sayre.
