THE VALLEY "” Volleyball takes center stage Monday night, with all four Valley teams in action. Waverly is the only team at home, while Tioga's match is the only one with division title implications.

VOLLEYBALL
Tioga (14-1) at Newark Valley (10-5), 5 p.m. JV start:
The Tigers are coming off a sweep of Waverly Saturday morning, while the Lady Cardinals swept O-M Thursday.

If Tioga wins, and Candor beats S-VE, the two teams will play at Candor Wednesday in an IAC South Small School divisional playoff game.

Earlier this season, Tioga swept Newark Valley.

Watkins Glen (3-11) at Waverly (5-9), 5 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wolverines were swept by Tioga Saturday morning - their fourth loss in a row, while the Lady Senecas were swept by Edison Thursday.

The two teams play again Tuesday at Watkins Glen.

Athens (6-7) at Corning (11-3), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 3-0 loss to powerhouse Berwick in the opening round of the District 2-4 Sub-Regionals Saturday, while Corning topped Elmira, 3-1.

Sayre (1-14) at Towanda (7-9), 6 p.m. JV start: The Lady Redskins are coming off a 3-0 loss at NEB Saturday, while the Lady Black Knights were swept at Athens Thursday.

Earlier this season, Towanda swept Sayre.
