WOMEN'S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: TIOGA GRAD AYRES HAS HOT HAND IN ELMIRA COLLEGE'S WIN OVER CAZENOVIA (2021-11-20)

Olivia Ayres, a freshman on the Elmira College women's basketball team, had the hot hand in her third career game for the Lady Soaring Eagles, helping them to an 80-64 win over Cazenovia College here Wednesday night.
Ayres set career-highs with 15 points, five 3-pointers, seven rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Ayres was 5-for-9 from behind the 3-point arc in the game.

Emily Sutryk, a sophomore, had three points, on a 3-pointer, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals in the win.
On the season, Ayres is averaging 9.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. She has nine 3-pointers.
Sutryk is averaging 4.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.7 steals per game.
Elmira College, now 3-0, is on the road at Mount Holyoke this weekend for games Saturday and Sunday.
