Gabbi Randall, a freshman on the Corning CC women's basketball team, had the best offensive game of her career recently in a 72-67 loss to Hudson Valley CC.
Randall, who pulled down a school-record 29 rebounds in a game earlier this season, scored a career-high 15 points on 6 of 12 shooting from the field and a 3-for-3 effort from the free-throw line. She also had six rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
One night earlier, Randall had six points, nine rebounds, five steals, and one assist in a 47-39 loss to SUNY Adirondack.
On the season, Randall is averaging 8.2 points, a team-leading 10.5 rebounds per game, and is shooting a team-best 38 percent from the field. She is also second on the team with 11 assists, seven steals, and a 73.3 shooting percentage from the free-throw line.
Corning CC returns to action Dec. 7 at Jamestown CC.
