IAC BOWLING: TIOGA BOYS SWEEP O-M; LADY TIGERS DROP 3-1 DECISION (2021-12-21)

WATKINS GLEN "" The Tioga boys posted a sweep of short-handed Odessa-Montour Tuesday afternoon, while the Lady Tigers dropped a tightly-contested, 3-1, decision in IAC bowling action at Harborside Lanes.

BOYS
Tioga 4, O-M 0

The Tigers won each game by at least 260 pins for a total-pinfall victory of 2,420 to 1,388 over the four-man Indian team.

Freshman Nick Slater rolled a 536 series, including a 205, to lead Tioga in the sweep of O-M, while junior Bradley Webb shot a 514, and senior Dylan Slater had a 489.

Junior Gage Cain shot a 443 for the Tigers, while senior Rocco Fariello added a 408, and junior Frank Chapman chipped in with a 398.

Austin Hoyt led O0-M with a 483.

GIRLS
O-M 3, Tioga 1
The Lady Indians won the first game 642-608 win, but the Lady Tigers answered with a 731-631 win in the second game. O-M closed out the match with a 644-567 win for a total-pinfall victory of 1,917 to 1,906.

Junior Caroline Chapman led Tioga with a 461 series, while sophomore Chloe Gillett shot a 399, sophomore Allie Creller had a 360, junior BobbiJo Tarbox added a 349, and junior Jamie Card chipped in with with a 337.

Jana Arias led O-M with a 438 series.
