SECTION IV WRESTLING: FIELD FOR DIVISION 2 DUALS WEDNESDAY AT TIOGA ANNOUNCED (2022-01-16)

TIOGA CENTER — The field for Wednesday’s Section IV, Division 2 Duals, which will be held here at Tioga Central High School, has been announced, and it has an IAC feel.

Tioga (10-0), ranked No.1 in the state in Division 2,  is the top seed and two-time defending champ, while Walton-Delhi (3-0) is the second seed, Windsor (5-2) is the third seed, and Oxford-Greene (4-4) is the fourth seed.

Newark Valley (7-4) is the fifth seed, and Waverly (7-9) is the sixth seed.

The action begins at 4:30 p.m. Waverly squares off with Windsor, with the winner advancing to face Walton-Delhi in the semifinals at 6 p.m.

On the other side of the bracket, Oxford-Greene takes on Newark Valley, wit the winner advancing to take on top-seeded Tioga.

The championship match is slated for 7:30 p.m.
