WATKINS GLEN — Senior Dylan Slater led a balanced Tioga line-up in a sweep of Watkins Glen here Tuesday afternoon in IAC bowling action here at the Valley Bowling Center, while the Lady Tigers were swept.

BOYS
Tioga 4, Watkins Glen 0
The Tigers won every game by at least 137 pins for a total-pinfall victory of 2,654 to 2,104.

Senior Dylan Slater led the Tigers with a 577 series, including games of 215 and 204, while junior Brad Webb shot a 537, including a 212 in the third game, and 8th-grader Nick Slater had a 522.

Junior Gage Cain shot a 512 in the sweep, while junior Frank Chapman added a 478, and senior Rocco Fariello tacked on a 462.

Mikel Cody led Watkins Glen with a match-high 625 series on games of 162, 248, and 215.

GIRLS
Watkins Glen 4, Tioga 0
The Lady Senecas won the first game 788-648, then pulled out a pair of close decisions — 667-649 and 688-662 — for a total-pinfall victory of 2,143 to 1,959.

Junior Jamie Card led Tioga with a 418, while Caroline Chapman shot a 415, and junior BobbiJo Tarbox had a 385.

Senior Rachel Feeko had a 375 for Tioga, while Ariana Hawley added a 348, and sophomore Allie Creller tacked on a 337.

Alyiah Clink-Bentley led Watkins Glen with a 495.

Tioga returns to action Thursday against O-M at Harborside Lanes in Watkins Glen.
