IAC BOWLING: TIOGA BOYS SWEEP NOTRE DAME IN SEASON FINALE; LADY TIGERS SWEPT (2022-02-08)

SOUTHPORT, N.Y. — Junior Frank Chapman and senior Dylan Slater rolled 600 series to lead Tioga to a season-ending sweep of Notre Dame in IAC bowling action here Tuesday afternoon at Dixie Lanes, while the Lady Tigers were swept.

BOYS
Tioga 4, Notre Dame

Chapman banged out a 650 series on games of 223, 222, and 205, and Dylan Slater rolled a 602 n games of 167, 220, and 215 to lead Tioga in a sweep of O-M.

The Tigers won each game by at least 184 pins en route to a total-pinfall victory of 2,883 to 2,126.

Junior Bradley Webb rolled a 547 series, including a 211, while 8th-grader Nick Slate had a 517, junior Gage Cain added a 514, and senior Rocco Fariello chipped in with a 485.

Connor Ryan led the Crusaders with a 533 series.

GIRLS
Notre Dame 4, Tioga 0

Notre Dame used a balanced line-up to post a sweep of Tioga by a total-pinfall count of 2,276 to 2,010.

Tioga sophomore Chloe Gillett rolled a match-high 516 series, while senior Rachel Feeko shot a 405, sophomore Allie Creller had a 378.

Junior Jamie Card had a 344 for the Lady Tigers, while junior BobbiJo Tarbox added a 331, and Ariana Hawley chipped in with a 321.

Emalie Barkley led Notre Dame with a 493 series, and Jillian Whittaker had a 474.

Tioga returns to action Saturday at the IAC Championships at the Valley Bowling Center.
