COLLEGE SOFTBALL: TIOGA GRAD CULVER WINS THREE IN A ROW FOR CALDWELL; IMPROVES TO 12-2 ON SEASON (2022-04-22)

Mariah Culver, a senior on the Division II Caldwell University softball team, has won her last three decisions to improve to 12-2 on the season.
On Thursday, Culver pitched Caldwell, ranked third in the Eastern Region, to a 4-2 win over St. Thomas Aquinas, which is ranked ninth in the region.
Culver allowed two unearned runs on in hits, while striking out three and walking one in a seven-inning complete-game win.
On Wednesday, Culver pitched four-innings of one-hit, shutout ball in a 17-0 win over Goldey-Beacom. She struck out three and walked one.
On April 14, Culver allowed two runs on five hits, while striking out six and walking none in 5 1/3 innings to earn the victory in a 13-4 win over Holy Family.
On the season, Culver is 12-2 with a 2.40 ERA. She has allowed 74 hits in 81 2/3 innings, while striking out 63 and walking 19.
Caldwell, now 30-7, returns to action Saturday with a twinbill at Georgian Court University, and a Sunday doubleheader at Pace University.
