TIOGA CENTER — Senior Alissa Hine tossed a one-hitter, and was the beneficiary of 21 hits in Tioga’s 15-0 six-inning win over Candor here Friday afternoon in IAC South Small School Division softball action.

Hine fanned 13 and walked four in six innings of work, allowing only a one-out fifth-inning single in earning the win.

The Lady Tigers took command immediately with senior Abby Foley and 8th-grader RaeAnne Feeko hitting consecutive singles to make it 1-0, and junior M.J. Thetga ripping an RBI double to make it 2-0.

In the second inning, Foley and Feeko stroke RBI singles to make it 5-0, and Thetga rapped another RBI double to extend the lead to 6-0.

Freshman Erin Luther capped the rally with a two-run home run to makie it 8-0.

Foley and Thetga hit RBI singles in the home half of the third inning to extend the Tioga lead to 10-0, then Luther belted an RBI double, and senior Julia Bellis stroked an RBI lead to push the lead to 12-0.

Tioga added two more runs in the fourth inning on a two-run single by Feeko, and another in the sixth on a bases-loaded walk to junior Felicia Lantz to end the game via the 15-run “mercy rule.”

Feeko had four hits, three runs scored, and four RBI, while Foley had four singles, three runs scored, and two RBI, and Thetga had four hits, including a pair of doubles, one run scored, and three RBI to pace Tioga at the plate.

Luther had three hits, including a home run and a double, two runs scored, and three RBI in the win, while Bellis stroked three singles, and drove in one run, Hine doubled and singled, and scored three runs, Vance added a pair of singles and one run scored, and Vance crossed the plate once.

Tioga, now 4-0, travels to Deposit-Hancock Saturday.
