EAST TROY — Sayre scored nine runs in the top of the seventh inning to pull out a 15-8 win over Troy here Thursday evening in Bradford-Tioga counties American Legion baseball action.

Troy took an early lead with three runs — on five walks, an error, and a passed ball — in the bottom of the second inning, but Sayre pushed five runs across the plate in the fourth inning to take a 5-3 lead.

After consecutive walks to Zach Garrity and Karter Green to lead off the top of the fourth, Kannon VanDuzer ripped an RBI single up the middle to close the gap to 3-1.

After a one-out wild to Hogan Shaw to load the bases, Tanner Green pulled a two-run double down the third-base line to tie the game at 3-3.
