BERWICK — Selinsgrove pulled away from Athens in a 16-0 win in the consolation bracket of the Section 3 Minors Division Little League baseball playoffs.

Selinsgrove scored three runs in the top of the third inning to break a scoreless tie, then tacked on four runs in the top of the fourth, and nine more in the fifth to take a 16-0 lead.

Evan Westerfield fourth-inning single was the lone hit in the game for Athens.

Athens loaded the bases in the bottom of the fifth on walks to Brady Shores, Peyton Williams, and Silas Bennett, but could not push a run across the plate.
