Grand Rapids, MI — The fourth and final day of Junior Gold qualifying conclude Thursday night with Corning’s Joseph Enderle missing a chance to advance by less than 50 pins.

There were two Corning, two Horseheads and a Waverly bowler in the field.

In the under 18 boys division, Enderle missed the cut to the advancers round by just 45 pins. His four-day total was 3,087 (-113 pins, based on a 200 average for all bowlers to determine a score). He averaged 192.94 for the 16 games and finished 218th out of 1,024 bowlers.

Waverly’s Zach Vanderpool had a four-day total of 2,895 (-305 pins) and averaged 180.94 for the 16 games. He finished 521st out of 1,204 bowlers — placing him in the top 44 percent of competitors.

Cameron Kennedy of Corning shot a four-day total of 2,844 (-356 pins) and averaged 177.75 for the 16 games. He finished 602nd out of the 1,204 bowlers.

In the under 18 girls division, Emily Huntley of Horseheads had a four-day total of 2,793 (-407 pins) and averaged 174.56 for the 16 games. She finished 156th out of 569 bowlers, missing the cut to move on to the advancers round by 127 pins.

In the under 15 boys division, Michael Rennells of Horseheads had a four-day total of 2,654 (-546 pins) and he averaged 165.88 for the 16 games bowled. He finished 343rd out of 629 bowlers.
