THE VALLEY — Mother Nature could impact Monday’s outdoor sporting events, and has already caused one postponement, but if things go off as planned, there is plenty on tap for high school sports fans.

Today’s NTL golf match at the Towanda Country Club has been postponed, and rescheduled for Tuesday.

BOYS SOCCER
Horseheads (1-4-1) at Athens (4-4), 6 p.m.:
The Wildcats are coming off a 5-0 home loss to Midd-West Saturday, while the Blue Raiders dropped an 8-2 decision at home to Ithaca.

Athens is 0-3 against non-league opponents this season, while Horseheads has lost four in a row.

Waverly (3-2) at SVEC (5-1), 6:30 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 5-1 win over Watkins Glen Saturday, while the Eagles edged Trumansburg, 1-0, Friday.

GIRLS SOCCER
Waverly (5-0) at Candor (1-3-1), 4:30 p.m.:
The Lady Wolverines are coming off an 8-1 win over Tioga Saturday, while Candor played Newfield to a 2-2 draw.

Watkins Glen (4-1-1) at Tioga (0-5), 4:30 p.m.:
The Lady Tigers dropped an 8-1 decision at Waverly Saturday, while the Lady Senecas topped Notre Dame, 3-1.

VOLLEYBALL
Waverly (3-0) at Tioga (3-0), 5 p.m. JV start:
The Lady Wolverines are coming off a sweep of Newfield Wednesday, while the Lady Tigers sweep Dryden Monday.

FIELD HOCKEY
Maine-Endwell (1-4) at Tioga (0-6), 4:30 p.m.:
The Lady Tigers dropped a 6-0 decision to Marathon Friday, while the Lady Spartans dropped a 3-0 decision at Afton.

JV FOOTBALL
Wellsboro at Athens, 4 p.m.
Waverly at Newark Valley, 4:30 p.m.
Tioga at Sayre, 6 p.m.
