IAC BOYS BOWLING: TIOGA DROPS 3-1 DECISION TO DIVISION RIVAL O-M (2022-11-23)

WAVERLY — Tioga started fast, but O-M rallied to win the next three points in a season-opening, 3-1, win here Tuesday afternoon in IAC Small School Division boys bowling action here at the Valley Bowling Center.

The Tigers won the opening game 955-800, but the Grizzlies won the next two games by scores of 945-805 and 874-793 for a total-pinfall victory of 2,619 to 2,553.

Senior Gage Cain led Tioga with a 591 series, including games of 246 and 203, while freshman Nick Slater rolled a 574, including games of 203 and 224, and senior Brad Webb shot a 534.

Senior Frank Chapman had a 488 series, while junior Mason Green added a 366, and sophomore Kameron Joyce tacked on a 287.

Benson Patterson led O-M with a match-high 639 series, and Zach Rounds added a 554.

Tioga returns to action Tuesday against Thomas A. Edison at Dixie Lanes.
