WAVERLY — Junior Chloe Gillette and senior Caroline Chapman paced Tioga in a season-opening sweep of Odessa-Montour here Tuesday afternoon in IAC Small School girls bowling action at the Valley Bowling Center.

The Lady Tigers won a low-scoring 615-433 decision in the first game, then rolled to wins of 779-490 and 700-517 in the next two games for a total-pinfall win over 2,094 to 1,440.

Gillette led Tioga with a 482 series, including a 197 in the second game, while Chapman rolled a 462, including a 188 in the second game.

Freshman Kelsey Helmich added a 392 for the Lady Tigers, while senior BobbiJo Tarbox had a 388, junior Allie Creller chipped in iwht a 370, and sophomore Ariana Hawley tacked on a 246.

Sarah Barr led O-M with a 467 series.

Tioga returns to action Tuesday against Thomas A. Edison at Dixie Lanes.
