THE VALLEY — The Waverly bowling teams tip off the 2022-23 campaign this afternoon at the Valley Bowling Center, while Tioga is on the road for the first time this season.

BOYS BOWLING
Lansing (4-0) at Waverly, 4 p.m. @ Valley Bowling Center: The Wolverines open the season this afternoon, while the Bobcats are coming off a sweep of Watkins Glen.

Waverly was 50-2 last season and won the IAC Large School Division title.

Tioga (1-3) at Thomas A. Edison (0-4), 4 p.m. @ Dixie Lanes: The Tigers dropped a 3-1 decision O-M last Tuesday in its season-opener, while the Spartans were swept by SVEC.

GIRLS BOWLING
Lansing (0-4) at Waverly, 4 p.m. @ Valley Bowling Center:  The Lady Wolverines open the 2022-23 campaign this afternoon, while Lansing was swept by Watkins Glen last Tuesday.

Waverly finished the season at 47-5 last season, and placed second in the IAC Large School Division.

Tioga (4-0) at Thomas A. Edison, 4 p.m. @ Dixie Lanes: The Lady Tigers opened the season with a sweep of O-M last Tuesday, while the Lady Spartans did not field a bowler in their season-opener against SVEC.
