THE VALLEY — There is just one event left on the docket Monday night, but it is the renewal of a Valley rivalry as the Athens girls host Sayre in their annual “Pink-Out” basketball game.

The Athens-Danville swim meet at Towanda has been postponed.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Sayre at Athens, 6 p.m. (Varsity Only): The Lady Wildcats are coming off a 51-43 non-league win over Blue Ridge Saturday, while the Lady Redskins dropped a 42-27 decision to Williamson Wednesday.

In their first meeting this season, Athens pulled out a 29-24 decision at Sayre in the consolation game of the Valley Christmas Tournament.
