IAC BOYS BOWLING: WAVERLY RIDES THREE 600 SERIES TO SWEEP OF TIOGA (2023-02-01)

WAVERLY — Waverly rolled three 600 series in a sweep of Tioga Wednesday afternoon in IAC boys bowling action here at the Valley Bowling Center.

The Wolverines won each game by at least 108 pins, and won the total-pinfall count 3,048 to 2,624.

Senior Zach Vanderpool banged out a 643 series on games of 203, 196, and 244 to lead the Wolverines, while freshman Derek Johnson shot a 636 on games of 208, 205, and 223, and senior Ashton Pritchard fired a 609 on games of 191, 203, and 215.

Junior Trenton Sindoni shot a 586 series, including games of 202 and 208, in the sweep ,while senior Mike Cole added a 532, and freshman Tristan Campbell tacked on a 502, including a 200 in the third game.

Senior Gage Cain led Tioga with a 604 series on games of 204, 203, and 197, while senior Brad Webb shot a 580, including games of 200 and 201, and senior Frank Chapman had a 560, including games of 202 and 202.

Freshman Nick Slater had a 528 series, including a 214, while freshman Nate Hulbert had a 352, and sophomore Kam Joyce tacked on a 261.

Waverly hosts Watkins Glen Tuesday.
