IAC BOWLING: TIOGA GIRLS FINISH FIFTH AT LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS; BOYS FINISH SEVENTH (2023-02-12)

Valley Sports Report
WAVERLY — The Tioga girls placed fifth, and the boys were seventh here Saturday afternoon at the IAC Bowling Championships at the Valley Bowling Center.

GIRLS
Junior Chloe Gillett finished 10th in the individual standings with a 550 series, including a 199, to lead the Lady Tigers to a fifth-place finish at the regular season-ending league tournament.

Waverly won the team title with a 2,850, while Union Springs / Port Byron was second at 2,658, Watkins Glen was third at 2,533, Candor was fourth at 2,358, and Tioga totaled 2,266.

US-PB’s Colleen Jump won IAC golf with a 647 series, and a 237 high game.

BOYS
The Tigers had three bowlers finish in the top-20 in a seventh-place finish at the league championships.

Senior Gage Cain finished ninth in the individual standings with a 645 series, including 222, and senior Brad Webb shot a 593, including a 233.

Newark Valley’s Lane Underwood won IAC gold with a 752 series, and US-PB’s Matt Howell rolled a 300 high game.
