NEWFIELD — Two Tioga pitchers combined on a no-hitter, and the Lady Tigers pounded out 15 hits in an 18-0 five-inning win over Newfield here Tuesday in IAC South Small School Division softball action.

Senior M.J. Thetga struck out one and walked one in one inning of work, before leaving the game with an injury.

Freshman RaeAnne Feeko finished off the game, striking out eight, and walking two in four innings of relief to earn the win.

Feeko also led Tioga at the plate, with three hits, three runs scored, and four RBI, while senior Megan Shumway singled three times and scored three runs, and senior Felicia Lantz singled twice, scored one run, and drove in two runs.

Sophomore McKenzie Williams doubled, scored one run, and drove in two runs for the Lady Tigers, while junior Megan Vance and sophomore Erin Luther each had one hit, two runs scored, and two RBI, and Thetga singled and knocked in two runs.

Junior Emily Bidwell singled, scored one run, and drove in one run in the win, while senior Kathleen Toomey singled and scored two runs, junior Elizabeth Shaffer singled and scored one run, and junior Chloe Gillette, and 8th-grader Jade Keaty each crossed the plate once.

Tioga, now 7-0, travels to S-VE Thursday afternoon.
