STAC VOLLEYBALL: WINDSOR TOPS WAVERLY IN FOUR SETS (24 PHOTOS) (2023-09-07)
Valley Sports ReportWAVERLY - Waverly put a scare into Windsor with a third-set win, but the Lady Black Knights proved too much in a 3-1 win here Thursday night in STAC volleyball action.
Windsor opened with wins of 25-21 and 25-19, before extended the match with a 25-15 win in the third set. Windsor closed out the match with a 25-17 win in the fourth set.
Senior Ashlen Croft led Waverly with six service points, four kills, five digs, and one block, while senior Erica Ryck had five points, and five kills, junior Lillie Kirk had four points, including three aces, and a team-high 14 digs.
Senior Peyton Shaw had four points, and three kills for the Lady Wolverines, while senior Lily Smith had two points, nine setter assists, and five digs, junior Lauryn DeLill had two points and two kills, sophomore Brilynn Belles recorded 13 digs, and junior Maddy Olmsted chipped in with three assists, and six digs.
Waverly, now 1-1, returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Susquehanna Valley.
