THE VALLEY — There are six varsity events on Monday’s docket, and all six are in the Valley, including the final NTL golf match of the season at Tomasso’s Golf Course.

BOYS SOCCER
SVEC at Tioga (6-2-2), 4:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 4-0 loss to Notre Dame Thursday, while the Eagles blanked Newfield, 3-0.

Liberty (7-4 overall, 4-3 NTL) at Athens (3-4, 3-2), 5:30 p.m.: The Wildcats are coming off a 4-0 loss at Midd-West Saturday, while the Mountaineers are coming off a 5-2 loss to Wellsboro, which came on the heels of a 2-1 loss at Williamson.

GIRLS SOCCER
Seton Catholic at Waverly (3-4-1), 7 p.m.: The Wolverines dropped a 2-1 overtime decision to Chenango Valley Wednesday night, while the Saints lost, 6-0, to Chenango Valley on Thursday night.

VOLLEYBALL
Sayre (0-7) at Waverly (3-3), 5:30 p.m.: The Wolverines are coming off a 3-1 win over Chenanago Valley Thursday, while the Redskins were swept by North Penn-Liberty.

Watkins Glen (1-4) at Tioga (2-2), 5:30 p.m. JV start: The Tigers are coming off a sweep of Dryden Tuesday, while the Lake Hawks were swept by Trumansburg Wednesday.

GOLF
NTL Match #7 at Tomasso's Golf Course, 1 p.m.: Athens enters the final match of the regular season at 36-0, having already clinched its third consecutive league title last week, while Sayre is 0-36, and only has two players currently playing.

Athens senior Evan Cooper leads the NTL with a 78.5 scoring average, and his teammate, junior Dylan Saxon is second at 81.88.

Wildcat freshman Eli Hicks is currently sixth at 83.75, while junior Brady Darrow is 10th at 90.29, and senior Nichols Jacob is 11th at 91.25.
