Valley Sports ReportATHENS - Powerhouse North Penn-Liberty swept past Athens here Thursday night in NTL Large School volleyball action.
The Lady Mounties won by scores of 25-11, 25-11, and 25-15.
Junior Ella Coyle led Athens with 10 digs, while freshman Hannah Parrish had six setter assists, and juniors Kassie Babcock and Keaton Wiles each had four kills.
Senior Emma Renninger recorded four digs for the Lady Wildcats, while junior Sydney Field had three assists, senior Olivia Mustard added two kills, senior Emily Marshall had two service aces, and sophomore Regan McDaniel chipped in with one block.
Athens, now 3-6, returns to action Tuesday when it hosts Towanda.
