As the 0-0 score at the half would indicate, the first half was a defensive struggle. Athens had a 1-0 edge in shots-on-goal in the first 40 minutes.
Both teams had three shots-on-goal in the game, while the Wildcats had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Liam Lezak had two saves in net for Athens.
