THE VALLEY — The 2023 fall season is winding to a close, and Thursday’s schedule will end the cross-country season for the vast majority of runners in Section IV, while two more Class C volleyball teams will also see their seasons come to a conclusion.

Section IV Championships, 11 a.m.:
Waverly will be running in the Class C Championships, while Tioga will be combating in Class D.

The Wolverines, if healthy, could send junior Harper Minaker, and / or senior Elizabeth Vaughn to the state meet.

Sophomore Talon Wood is Tioga’s top runner, but would need a career day to qualify.
