THE VALLEY - Basketball takes center stage Tuesday night with home games at Athens, Sayre, and Tioga, while the Athens wrestling team closes out its dual season at home against Canton.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Towanda (5-13) at Athens (12-7), 6 p.m. JV start (New gym):
The Wildcats are coming off a 77-46 loss to Troy Thursday, while the Black Knights topped Wyalusing, 55-44.

Earlier this season, Athens won at Towanda, 62-60.

Canton (6-13) at Sayre (9-11), 6 p.m. JV start: The Redskins are coming off a 63-56 home loss to Wyalusing, while the Warriors dropped a 42-32 decision at home to Cowanesque Valley.

In their first meeting, Sayre rolled to a 55-25 win at Canton.

Tioga (11-6) at S-VE (0-13), 6 p.m JV start:
The Tigers are coming off a 62-58 win at Union Springs Friday, while the Panthers

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Waverly (8-7) at Owego (10-6), 5:30 p.m. JV start:
The Wolverines are coming off a 70-44 loss at Hornell, while the River Hawks topped Norwich, 59-57.

S-VE (5-10) at Tioga (0-15), 5:30 p.m.: The Tigers are coming off a 58-23 home loss to Union Springs Friday, while the Panthers dropped a 50-47 decision to Newfield.

WRESTLING
Canton (9-4) at Athens (8-3), 7 p.m. (Old gym):
The Wildcats are coming off back-to-back losses to Wyalusing (36-35 in District 4 Duals), and Towanda (44-15), while the Warriors topped Hughesville (50-10) and Line Mountain (50-20), then dropped matches to Montoursville (50-19) and Montgomery (36-22) in the District 4 Duals.
