IAC JV BOYS BASKETBALL: S-VE RALLIES TO TOP TIOGA, 50-41 (2024-02-07)

SPENCER - S-VE used a 16-5 fourth-quarter blitz to rally for a 50-41 win over Tioga here Tuesday evening in IAC South Small School Division boys basketball action.

James Miller knocked down a pair of 3-pointers, and Gavin Kithcart added five points to help Tioga to a 13-8 lead after the first eight minutes.

S-VE answered with a 14-5 run in the second quarter to take a 22-18 lead into the halftime locker room.

Miller pumped in 10 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and Dyson Maddux added a 3-pointer as Tioga used an 18-12 run to regain the lead, at 36-34, entering the final eight minutes.

Miller led Tioga with 18 points, including four 3-pointers, while Kithcart added 13 points, and Dominic Palmer chipped in with four points.

Tioga closes out the regular season Monday at Ithaca.
