COLLEGE BASEBALL: SAYRE GRAD HANAFIN HAS THREE STRAIGHT MULTI-HIT GAMES (2024-03-29)

Quinn Hanafin, a senior on the Penn College baseball team, had three hits in a win over Wilkes University Thursday afternoon, and has three multi-hit games in a row.
On Thursday, Hanafin was 3-for-4 with a run scored, and one RBI to help Penn College to a 9-3 win over Wilkes. Hanafin had an RBI infield single as part of a seven-run first-inning rally.
On Tuesday, Hanafin had a pair of two-hit games in a doubleheader with Cairn College.
In the opener, Hanafin singled twice in four at-bats, and scored one run in Penn College’s 6-4 loss to Cairn.
In the night cap, Hanafin was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, and two RBI in a 13-5 win over Cairn.
On the season, Hanafin is hitting .308 (20 hits in 65 ABs) — up 49 points after his 7-for-11 performance in the last three games — with four doubles, two home runs, 16 RBI, and 12 runs scored.
Hanafin has five multi-hit games on the season, including a pair of three-hit games.
Penn College, now 8-11, returns to action Wednesday at Elmira College. Game time is 3 p.m.
