COLLEGE SOFTBALL: ATHENS GRAD SULLIVAN FINDING GROOVE OFFENSIVELY AT KING'S COLLEGE (2024-03-30)

DALLAS, Pa. — Athens grad Harley Sullivan, a junior on the King’s College softball team, had her second three-hit game of the season Thursday, and has safely in six of her last seven games.

On Thursday, Sullivan was 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run scored, and two RBI in King’s College’s 15-1 win over Misericordia in the second game of a twinbill.

In the opening game of the doubleheader, Sullivan was 1-for-2 with a base on balls in an 8-0 King’s loss.

On March 22, Sullivan was 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run scored, and one RBI in a 9-4 loss to Stevens College.

On the season, Sullivan, who has raised her batting average 103 points in the last seven games, is hitting .291 (16 hits in 55 ABs) with four doubles, 10 RBI, six runs scored, and one stolen base.

Defensively, Sullivan has been nearly flawless with a 1.000 fielding percentage in 74 defensive chances. She has thrown out five would-be base-stealers, and has only allowed one passed ball in 18 starts behind the plate.

King’s College, now 10-8, returns to action Monday in a doubleheader at the University of Scranton.
