IAC BOYS GOLF: UNION SPRINGS EDGES TIOGA BY SIX STROKES (2024-04-15)

WAVERLY — Both teams saw all four of its golfers shoot in the 40s, but Union Springs pulled out a six-stroke win over Tioga here Monday afternoon in IAC boys golf action at The Club at Shepard Hills.

Seniors Evan Sickler and Levis Bellis shot rounds of 45 to pace Tioga, but the Wolves got a 42 from Luke Parker and a 43 from Michael Culver to post a 177-183 win.

Senior Tyler Roe shot a 46 for the times, and junior James Luther added a 47.

Brandon Rafferty and Owen Seaver shot non-scoring rounds of 50 and 52 for the Tigers.

Joel Sylvester and Stephen Case added matching rounds of 46 for Union Springs in the win.

Tioga, now 2-1, hosts Candor Tuesday at the Tioga Country Club.
